Ubirajara Oliveira graduated in Biological Sciences from the University of Minas Gerais - UFMG (2008), obtained his MSc in Ecology in University of Minas Gerais - UFMG (2011) and his PhD in Zoology at the University of Minas Gerais - UFMG (2015). Since 2015 he is a Post-doc researcher in Centro de Sensoriamento Remoto - UFMG.
